1 Scope This specification specifies pre-construction preparations, personnel, process requirements, process processes and inspections for sacrificial anode installations. This specification is applicable to the installation of sacrificial anodes for vessels over 100,000 tons. Terms and Definitions The following terms and definitions apply to this international Standard. 2.1 Direct welding the sacrificial anode connector is directly welded to the hull member. 2.2 Debrideable connection sacrifice anode is connected with hull member by bolt, without gas cutting and welding. 3 Preparation before Construction 3.1 Storage inspection and Requirements 3.1.1 Before sacrificing anode storage, there should be a quality guarantee certificate. The contents of the quality guarantee certificate include the lot number, batch, electrochemical performance test report, laboratory test report, fracture test section picture, contact resistance test report, product quality guarantee certificate and classification society inspection certificate of the sacrificed anodes. 3.1.2.1 The working surface of sacrificial anodes shall be marked with model, specification, manufacturer number and production batch number. 3.1.2.2 The outer surface of all sacrificial anodes is cast surface, and the sacrificial anodes surface has no oxidation slag, no burr, no flash, and no crack. The maximum size of the surface sag shall not exceed 10% of the maximum thickness of the sacrificial anode. 3.1.2.3 The sacrificial anode working face should be kept clean without any paint or oil stains. 3.1.3 Dimensions and Weight 3.1.3.1 Take any three pieces of sacrificial anodes in each batch for weighing. Requirement: tolerance for net weight (or total weight) of each sacrificial anode is ±3% of the design weight. 3.1.3.2 Take any three sacrificial anodes in each batch and measure the external dimension. The dimension deviation is: ±5% long; Width of plus or minus 5%; Plus or minus 5%.
